Well...

So this was suppose to be a daily blog, and then I declared it a when I can write blog. Well, two weeks later, I have yet to write a blog, well, I have found out why this to be the case. A majority of my thinking time is in my car. If I had a simple 10min drive, it wouldnt be a problem, but since 45 minutes later, Im home, I tend to forget some awesome thoughts. and I see crazy thinks, like on monday, I am riding the bus...and a cement truck just completely does a 180, then rolls back the other way 90 degrees. It was intense, as my bus is sitting there waiting for the light to turn green

So I am sorry, but not, I am trying to make this a not so personal blog, more of a opinions blog, but I guess due to low readership, there is little motivation to complete my task

thanks for reading

Technology

It is destroying the sanctuary of life by making many things easy to access. Though divorce was always there...just hushed up most of the time, it is increased because of the availbility of making fantasy just that closer, and keeping it better hidden. Now we can take pictures on phones and send them anywhere, making cheating all that much easier...by fulfilling fantasies and also by allowing distant versions of sex to take place...I use to praise technology, but now, because its common use is not to better one's society, but to please the flesh what it seems to be used for, I say destroy it

Its too much of a temptation that people cant resist, and is ruining this society

myself

I've noticed something about myself...I tend to have great ideas, when I am in my car. Like things to write about or how something is just morally wrong. But here's the thing. Because of my excessively long drive, I also tend to forget these things, for whatever reason. Whether it be because people are idiots on the road, or whatever, I just forget...actually that is a problem I have been experiencing a lot, that and cronic tiredness. Maybe College isn't the life for me, I mean if I could make a living writing blogs, I think I would be just as happy as making 100,000 dollars trying to become a pharmacist. Maybe I ought to look into it, but I think I need people to start reading these first. Okay, Heres the deal, If I can get 100,000 readers (not comments, but readers) by next year (November 8th 2008) I will try and figure out a way to make this into a sustainable(sp?) income. Call it the Blogger Gazette or something.

So to become an official reader of World's Small Observations, send an E-Mail to Dramaticmedicine@gmail.com. In the subject put, READER and I will do a constant update of the tally marks. So far, Including writing staff, the total is 3.

Maybe if it gets popular enough I will even establish my own site so others can do the same

I leave you with a goofy animation that I made.

Irony

So I don't know about you, but I think that how science is advancing is sort of ironic. It is advancing making it easier on man kind, yes? But at the cost of making mankind pay more and make less. My friend is writing a book on how robots will effect the economy in a negative aspect, but he had made some valid points to me. 1) As technology increases, you are gonna build machines and robots to do the simple tasks, so that makes the lower income/under-educated society unemployed. 2) If unemployment reaches a certain point then this can cause an increase in petty theft also causing prices to rise to account for missing food. 3) if crime were to increase then things such as prison costs would increase. This can overall make the cost of living skyrocket in certain places. Now that is just a basic look, we haven't taken into account the cost of metals, fuel (unless you can make them run like Bender in Futurama and run on alcohol) maintaince and other factors required to make a valid point more valid. So I truely wonder if robots will ever become more advanced than say ASIMO, but it could mean a violent world.

Friends

There is something I love about my friends, I have noticed that when I see them everyday or when I dont see them for a month...it doesnt matter, its as if we never stopped talking, its not like its been forever, but its only been minutes. That is my observation, that no matter how much times passes, taking an industrial fan and 3 fire extinguishers, or bageling a burnt christmas tree and putting it on their doorstep to find on Easter, or Bageling a teachers truck with plastic wrap because of a statement made about it, It allows us to never really disconnect, and though I wish a few others were there, It was still fun.

Not a Observation...well this is a user observation

The ads to the right and below my blogs belong to me, they will most likely change with each new post, to try and find something relevent. It is an experiment and a small cash making scheme by me. I want to see how it will react to the different topics made by me, but also it is because I am a poor college student who needs to make money anyway possible, so visit the ads, I don't know how exactly it works, either by clicks or by something else, but either way I would like to give it a try...i mean it works for news corp. with myspace.

so ya, support a poor college student who writes random things

also, there may be some other writers on this site, Night Fox, and Delphiki. These are obviously writer's names, but they may provide some other perspectives, debate my posts, and hopefully, I can get a couple more writers, I have a couple more I am trying to get to join this post. But I am the only writer who will definately, at least until finals, write everyday, all the others will add when they have time

that is it for today, I promise

The 3rd Obserant (Observation/Rant)

The Topic of my Observation for today is the Government.

Normally, I am not one to take sides when it comes to politics, I am an independent voter, but I have to ask most republicans don't believe in global warming? Now I live in the southwest region of the United States, and if you were anywhere near here, then I think you would agree, the weather is progressively getting hotter. But on top of it all, they show the proof with pictures and what not of ice caps melting, so you are going and saying, "nope not happening" while covering your eyes. I mean, its happening, maybe not as drastically as stated by Al Gore, but really, it is. A Coworker and I were talking about this and he is very republican, is even one of the 12% that still thinks Bush is doing a good job, and is also a smart guy (obviously not politically, but in most scientific and mathmatical aspects) and he said its all a ploy to get a black or female president into office. I am fine with people closing eyes, but conspiracies too. I also read a similar thing in my colleges newpaper, and I am just curious if this is how republicans think. So the observation for today is, Republicans are conspirists. Thanks for reading

A Second Thought

So, I have decided to make this a daily blog. I wasn't sure at first, but now I am.

Today's Observation is about People. Not the magazine, but sort of society as I see it. Why are people so into pointing out problems with the world, I have a friend and he loves to point out things so generally, that every person could fit into the persona. Now this is a common trend with people in general (there I go making the same sort of thing), but whenever it comes to how a person feels, most people are too nervous to share how they really feel. So they invent things like Myspace, Facebook, and Blogger.com so that way people can be themselves and have a sort of annonomous aspect to the whole thing. Like this one time, I had a friend being harrassed by an ex-boyfriend. So using the power of the internet, I created a fake profile on myspace and pretended to be someone strong to leave my friend alone. For some reason, the internet enpowers us, makes us feel like we have a mask on ourselves and are able to do anything.

There's another small observation...thanks for reading!

My First Observation

Okay, not really, but I am going to start this Observing Blog with one from a very popular show. Heroes: Season 1

In the episode where Hiro and Sylar showdown for the first time and the sword is shattered into two, titled "Landslide". Hiro takes the sword to an ancient sword shop. When they speak to the shop owner, take a closer look at him. Remind you of anyone, and why would he be so unbothered by a sword that must be known to be stolen. Maybe because Hiro and Him have met before, and fought over a women.

Yes I am making the call that the shop owner is Takezo Kensei. And I wouldn't be surprised to see him telling Ando the rest of the story since Hiro's scrolls have ended.

That is today small Observation...more coming soon
